Cellulite
Cellulite - sometimes referred to as the ‘orange-peel’ effect. There are many treatments,
creams and potions that claim to beat cellulite – unfortunately these claims are
usually unsubstantiated.
Cellulite is the condition that appears when fatty tissue has strained the bonds
between the connective tissue and the skin. This causes a loss of smoothness in
the skin tissue and results in the dimpled effect we have come to associate with
‘orange-peel’. As these bonds stretch and tighten against the cells, blood flow
is restricted, starving the cells of essential nutrients and restricting the elimination
of toxins from these cells.
